Tom's Lyme Regis is a multi award winning restaurant situated on the Lyme Regis seafront offering exceptional views over Lyme Bay. We are dedicated to serving stunning food and delivering outstanding service.
Each dish on our menu has been created using fresh local produce that changes with the seasons providing you with an exciting varied menu focused on bold flavours. Great ambiance, with limited menu cooked well. Carefully selected wine list, Gavi was top class. Pleasant host. Booking essential.

We visitec Tom’s in Lyme Regis on July 5th but it might as well have been November 5th walking along Marine Parade grey waves crashing on the beach & the rain pattering on our umbrellas. Toms was a cheery beacon of friendly warmth. Although obviously the outdoor seating and views from the windows work better on a hot summer’s day our welcoming waitress was cheerful & we entered the restaurant where many tables of happy people were having dinner. The menu is mainly fish or shellfish. I devoured some butter melt in your mouth local scallops , then went for half a blue lobster as my main which was equally delicious & melt in the mouth. None of that chewy lobster one sometimes has to battle with. Buttery sauce & delicious chips plus a celariac “cole slaw” rounded off the main course. A delicious strawberry dessert was my final indulgence. All in all I wasn’t disappointed but my husband’s haddock was apparently a little on the dry side. I will recommend Toms to our visitors in the Shepherd’s Hut we airbnb. On a sunny day eating shellfish on the Marine Parade opposite the famous Cobb, it would be perfection!

We enjoyed a delicious efficient meal served at a relaxed pace by charming servers in a delightful seaside ambience. We have given 5 stars as we weren't attracted by the desserts (suggest cheesecake/treacle tart), but would definitely return

We had a fantastic meal. Fish cooked perfectly and beef fantastic. The service was excellent - attentive, polite and really engaged. Ambience was spot on, and Tom was the perfect host. If you want a great restaurant experience in Lyme Regis, go to Toms !!

Have been to Tom’s several times and it’s always been fab, whether it’s just for coffee and cake or lunch / dinner, the staff are always extremely welcoming and kind. On this occasion we went for dinner and every single staff member was lovely, the food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. One of my party can be a little picky but he enjoyed absolutely everything and is looking forward to going back.

Excellent in every way. Beautiful food expertly cooked by well trained team. Professional and charming front of house staff. Best restaurant in Lyme. Highly recommended.

Location cannot be beaten. Sunny day outside would be lovely. Food is OK, very expensive for what it is. Chef walked through the restaurant several times whilst we were there but did not engage with any customers. The staff whilst very friendly do not seem to have been trained and were quite inattentive. This could be a brilliant restaurant. It is such a shame it isn't.
