Tom Brown’s Restaurant specializes in wet aged hand-cut Certified Angus Beef, the freshest seafood flown in, and house-made entrees. We serve only exceptional food with authentic hospitality. Food was alright, they over cooked the bison and the garlic mashed potatoes were gluey, the elk was excellent and the old fashioned was delicious. Will most likely return and try something else. The crab cakes were fantastic.

They are just not the fine dining experience as advertised. Out of 4 orders, the beef tips were exceptional, fried shrimp was way overcooked, the shrimp and grits good, not great, the bread was tough. Our waitress was great, but the entrees came out before we had finished the salad. The wine was fine; not great, (in fairness, maybe we just ordered the wrong wine). Bottom line, there are just much better fine dining choices in the area. They are going to have to up their game if they want to stay in business here.

The restaurant is very well put together and the staff are very knowledgeable and swift. The only negative I really have is the waiters are a bit slow even when the restaurant isn’t busy but even though they are a bit slow, there was no mistakes made or any negative behavior. Phenomenal place to eat. And get a piece of cake….it will change your life.

This is our 2nd time dining here. We gave it one more try. We will never done here again. I ordered a fish special and it was awful, overcooked and it was served cold and dry. I ordered a lobster tail. It was so overcooked. I was so dry and chewy i could barely eat it. Thst was an $35 charge alone. My wife ordered French onion soup. It was Luke warm and the cheese on top was cold. She also had a salad for her dinner. It was so one note. You can get a better salad at fast food places. Our dinner was north of $120 and it was awful. Buyer be ware. Tom Browns has struck out 2x with us now. Never again!

We always enjoy Tom Brown's. The Lavender Lemon Drop Martini is my favorite. We love the Mean Green Egg Rolls, Ahi Tuna, Stuffed Mushrooms, and French Onion Soup appetizers. Sometimes we just fill up on those but their dinner menu is great as well!

My wife and I made reservations for our anniversary for 8:45. We were running late by 5 mins so we called the restaurant and asked was it okay because they closed at 9. The hostess who answered said as long as we got in before 9 we were fine and we had a 15 minute grace. We arrived at 8:50 and I dropped my wife at the door so I could park. My wife told me when she spoke to the hostess she was rude. She said to my wife you know we close at 9 right? My wife told her she had called and ahead and was told it was no issue. She asked to speak to the manager and the hostess quickly apologized and told my wife she had just hit her head and she would seat us now and was also the one we spoke to on the phone.We were sat at a sticky dirty table. We decided to leave and go to Ruth Chris. Very disappointing because we love the food here but if the staff has an issue with a 8:45 reservation it should be removed. The interaction was unprofessional. My wife doesn’t want to come back.

Steak(ribeye), sweet potatoes, and fries were really good. Steak was super tender and seasoned well, the sweet potatoes were 7 out of 10 (only improvement for me would be more brown sugar), and fries were good (could have been seasoned better) My only turn off was the eggrolls, they were absolutely soaked in mustard. This was super overpowering to the flavor of pulled pork/collard greens. I would suggest ordering the sauces on the side. The molten chocolate cake was decent but nothing I would go out of my way for. To me I think this place is more focused on the seafood dishes, and btw the service was excellent. This was a very picky review but in all honesty it’s good food.

Excellent dining experience! Outstanding service & food, in a classy but casual environment. Plenty of room between tables so didn’t feel crowded. Will definitely be back.
