The cooks do not seem to enjoy their job and the steak had a weird somewhat old taste. I ended up getting sick from the food. It is expensive and unseasoned besides loads of sodium. We go for the experience more than the flavor but all of it was worth substantially less than the bill. I think this was our last time at tokyo garden.

We enjoyed our visit. It’s was my daughter’s birthday. Side note: The shrimp always tastes really fishy and slightly like chlorine so I’ve stopped getting it.

In a word - terrible. We've eaten here several times before and had a good experience but this last time (Jan '25) was awful. Waitress was MIA for the most part until it was time to pay the bill and then we couldn't get her to go away. When the chef was done cooking, it wasn't 5 minutes into eating before she came to ask if we wanted boxes. She tried to tack on a 20% gratuity for 5 people and when we called her on it she said they add gratuity for groups of more than 5. I quickly pointed out there were only 5 of us and that 5 was less than "more than 5" so she needed to remove it. She let my wife's drink sit at the bar and melt. The chef hardly entertained/interacted which is the main draw for a place like that. The food was great, yes, but the bang-for-the-buck just wasn't there. Would not recommend (anymore).

The food was great, the chef was great and entertaining! We will definitely go back. The only complaint is that it took an hour from our reservation time to get our chef. The server got us drinks, soup & salad so it’s not terrible but with kids at our table, it would’ve been nice to start closer to reservation time. Overall still a good experience!

the chain has several places near. This one just did not compare. Beef over cooked, fried rice kinda too oily.

I didn’t like that we were sat with another family. Also if you have a large group, they apply gratuity automatically so you don’t get to choose the tip. But can leave another tip on top of that. It was great food, and the amount they give you will have you leaving with a to-go box every time.

We usually frequent another Hibachi restaurant in town for our special celebrations, but decided to try Tokyo Garden. I'm so glad we did! Fantastic service, food quality and value.

Took the family out to a Birthday Celebration dinner. The chef for our table was cordial and funny, trying to get the younger members of our party involved in his shenanigans. The food was excellent, cooked just right. The sushi rolls were delicious and fresh-tasting. We will be back here again in the future.
