Tocolo Cantina serves refined, modern Mexican food in a friendly, high-service, and casual atmosphere. The restaurant space was designed to merge the modern elements of a California eatery with those of a Mexican cantina to create a warm and inviting feel.

Dinner was nice! My husband and I both had rice bowls. They were fresh and flavorful. We ate outside, which is a good place. We felt the music was too loud out there, and we were surprised when it was not playing inside. Otherwise our server was delightful, and we loved the food!

What a great place to relax and had a great meal! Food was great and the staff is so friendly. Our waitress was amazing! I’m very happy with my experience and can’t wait to come back to try another dishes.

Second time here and food was very good. Service was a little slow which was surprising given how it was less crowded on a Weds night. The chips and salsa were stale/seemed store bought. We didn't recall that from the last time we were here. Drinks (sangria) was good

Bad service, medicore food, nice ambience but price was not worth what you get. The waiter has a problem because my 14 years old daughter wanted something from the kids menu but had no problems with my 12 years old son wanting to eat an adult meal. So I pivoted and had my son order for his sister’s and my daughter for her brother. My daughter wants the kids meal because of the size of the meal.Then he forgets to add cheese to one of the orders and didn’t even acknowledge that he forgot to add it, just made it seem like we didn’t order it. Then we had to chase him down for beverage refills, salt for the table, check. It was just all around a bad dining experience. It was a huge step down from the Tocolo in garden city.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Tocolo in Glen Cove. Our meals were delicious. The menu consists of a combination of dishes that are traditional and imaginative, and the flavors in everything we ordered were fresh and vibrant. The vibe of the gorgeous, modern space is city-cool. I can't wait to return in the summer to sit in the new covered outdoor area.

Excellent service. Our waitress very nice and cheerful. We ordered Paella which it was ok, reason why I rated 4 food. But the rest of food ordered was excellent.
