Since its debut in May 2018, Tobiuo Sushi & Bar’s dedicated staff has set its heights on providing an elevated sushi experience for its Katy neighbors and becoming a destination for greater Houston. Like the flying fish after which the restaurant is named, the Tobiuo (Toh-bee-oh) team aspires to soar above the status quo to create a next-level sushi experience for their guests. To achieve this goal, world-class ingredients from the best local and global markets are combined with artful presentation and a comprehensive fish aging program to intensify and showcase each cut’s flavor.

The best sushi place!! The food is phenomenal and so fresh and delicious. A perfect date night spot and you’ll love everything you order. The shishito peppers are a must, the sauce is so good to dip the sushi in. Can’t wait to go back again!

My favorite sushi spot the sashimi is so fresh! The spicy edamame or shishito peppers is always a hit! Love the lychee cosmo to drink and ube churro for dessert!!

Second chance time enjoying. Requested for my birthday. Ordered the tasting menu. The server described each dish we ordered in detail. She was very knowledgeable on the products, regions they came from, etc. All the fish was super-fresh, sauces and accompanied garnishes were perfectly balanced. In a word: perfect.

This sushi is the best I’ve had. I love the drinks. I asked for a cream lychee martini and the bartender did it just right even though it wasn’t on the menu. This place is great for Meeting a friend to catch up. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The food here is so good. The short rib Mac & Cheese is one of my top 5 favorite dishes of all time. From the Brussels sprouts to the Tasmania Trout sashimi, this place hits the spot.
