Situated in the Tivoli area of Cheltenham, we are just a 5 minute walk from Montpellier and 10 minutes into the town centre and shopping district. Escape the busy town streets and relax in our welcoming pub which boasts not only different areas to eat and drink downstairs, but also a patio garden outside and private function rooms upstairs.

We are passionate about great British food, our rich heritage of cask ales and newer craft beers, our extensive gin selection and our wine range. Thoroughly enjoyed eating at the Tivoli the staff are friendly and although it was a busy Saturday the service was very good

The bar area was very busy and noisy and our table was right next to a slot machine. Confusion over my drink order, took three attempts to get it right! Attitude of a senior server was disappointing-didn’t smile and seemed as if we were annoying her! Food was extremely disappointing too as it was no better than a heat and serve option. There are no prices advertised on the website menu and when I saw £1500 for the Smokey joe burger my expectations were high. However my food arrived as a burger with undercooked bacon (not crispy as advertised) with a few fries! No extra bbq dip and no sign of the melted cheese and slow cooked beef in a smoky sauce! We also ordered the grilled chicken and chorizo skewers but that chicken had not seen a grill it was just white chunks of plain cooked chicken and the prawn and calamari duo was over cooked/fried pieces of food that may have just been purchased from any supermarket frozen aisle! We couldn’t wait to get out of there!

Been a regular visitor to The Tivoli - never fails. Great place for a drink and a chat or a nice, unrushed meal.

We wanted to try somewhere new in Cheltenham, and support a local pub, more than a chain. Sadly we were rather disappointed with our mains. I had the duck, which wasn’t prepared very well and I spent ages getting lots of small bone shards out of it. There wasn’t enough orange sauce with it either. My husband asked for steak, medium-rare, and it looked like it had barely been cooked. Also the food just wasn’t worth what we paid for it. Rather a shame, as they had great reviews, the place looked amazing and the staff (including the landlord) were all lovely.
