Cathy Ortega & Gerald Aquintey didn't know what to expect after finally opening up a Filipino small grocery & takeout joint together. The shop was doing great but they wanted to do more. They wanted to give Toronto a much more authentic Filipino taste and experience without the price of a flight to the Philippines. Kamayan / Boodle Fight (the formality of eating with your hands) was the obvious solution.

Everything was fresh and deliciously prepared! Parking is a bit of an issue, but who cares?!?!

Delicious food. The service was very good. I had Calamansi juice and Halo Halo for the first time. Great experience.

We loved Tinuno! Cute little place with great food and friendly service. We had the kamayan and there was plenty of food for $25 per person. We are already planning our next visit. It's worth the drive from Mississauga.

If you want to experience boodle fight and taste Filipino food, come to Tinuno. The staff were nice and accommodating. The food was delicious and reminiscent of home (Philippines).

it's a new experience to my kids. They love it. They enjoy use the hand to eat. The fish is a little bit bitter. But the beef and the poek are perfect. We will recommend our friends. And will come again.
