Nice neighborhood, free parking same block, very nice interior, very helpful host, excellent waitress, and the food was delicious--what more can I say but go there and ENJOY

My friend & I went here to catch up. We both got the Calabrian Chili Marg, which was a decent drink- not very spicy. I ordered the mussels, which took a really long time to come out and we weren’t notified until they came out the same time as the pastas. The mussels were great. She got the cavatelli & I got the rigatoni. She really liked the sauce, but the pasta was a bit gummy. My pasta was a bit bland and I had a whole bowl of sauce left after finishing the pasta.

We really enjoyed our food. Everything was prepared to perfection. The drinks were also spectacular. Our server was nice enough but very inattentive. We had to ask other servers and staff to help us. We were not asked about our meal by our server, if we wanted anything, etc. During our lengthy time dining/waiting, we saw the tables beside us switch with three different sets of guests. The server for those tables had a buoyant personality, was extremely attentive, and seemed to be doing her job exceptionally well. We sat for lengths of time waiting to order. Our server did refill our water glasses quite frequently which was appreciated. When we ordered dessert, our server quickly took our order and left without asking if we wanted any drinks with dessert…coffee, espresso martini, etc. It was a great meal but service enhances a dining experience and we felt we did not receive the type of service warranted with the style of dining at Timpano.

I wanted to come here, because it's so popular and always busy and you have to book the table in advance. But honestly I don't understand the whole hype about it. I've been to so many other Italian restaurants that are better. It's very loud and you almost have to scream so that the person hears you We didn't take any main course, because the service was so slow.. By the time they brought us the appetizers it was too late. Oysters are the smallest oysters I've ever seen. Mussels are small and dry. The bread that that was served with mussels was super salty. Calamari were ok. Ceasar salad was OK. We also ordered tuna tartare, but they later said they don't have it right now. Our friends ordered some type of Mediterranean salad, it was huge chunks of tomatoes and onions. They also ordered some type of pasta. They said it was good. Our waitress was very nice though. And hostess was very nice too! To sum it up, it was ok.Will we come back? Maybe we'll give them a second chance..maybe not..

Food was less than ideal. Mussels did not taste fresh. Meatballs with ricotta were not served hot and had to be reheated by kitchen. Also, not as flavorful as ones at Carabbas. Server was pleasant but unattentive.

Good was great. It was hot in there though. Was wierd you couldnt add chicken to pasta bowl wanted to buy a seperate meal.

The server was very good. Very sweet. The food was absolutely atrocious! The only thing decent was the bread. Dry, overcooked pork chop, tough calamari that was 60 % cherry peppers for $18, NO SALT IN THE PASTA WATER which is unforgivable in a expensive place like this. This isn’t a truck stop. Under seasoned, poor quality food. Veal chop full of gristle. Definitely will not be back. It was better before the renovation. Worse experience in a high priced restaurant Ive ever had. Whoever is cooking needs education on basic seasoning. Do yourself a favor, go to a different restaurant
