Ordered beer and it did not come until dinner. Ordered bread and it came after dinner. Served never asked us if we wanted dessert. She just brought us the check. When I made the reservation I noted it was our 50th wedding anniversary and no one said or did anything.

Best place in town to get a nice dinner in an interesting old building made of gigantic timbers. Good service, food and ambience. One small complaint was that the french fries were a little undercooked. I like them crispy and asked for that but they were a bit soggy. It’s also a brewery and the peanut butter stout was outstanding as was the Mexican ale that my wife had. They are doing a lot of things right.

Always love the Timber House. Tonight was exceptional, the macadamia encrusted halibut with mango buerre blanc was AMAZING!!! Our server was outstanding. Only regret was not having room for dessert

Loved everything about it. They restored the place perfectly, great vibe, and preserving it in a lovely way as I remember it when I was a kid. Greta bar. Pretzel bites are out of this world and my family of 5 all agreed on 5 out of 5 for the food. Service was great, everyone super friendly. Really enjoyed their beer too, tried the IPA and the Blonde Ale. My 20 year old said “can’t wait to go back next trip to Almanor”. I totally agree.

Food was really good - my wife has a gluten allergy, so having the crispy shrimp gluten free was a real treat for her and they were delicious. Best burger I've had in a while - had the pulled pork last time and it was great. Excellent service, too. This place is has become a must go to spot for us when we visit the lake.

We ordered the lamb special and split it. the lamb was cooked properly medium rare, the red pepper mashed potatoes were very good and the vegetables were crisp and not overcooked. Our waiter, Tanner, was excellent as well.
