Food was ok. Clam chowder was tasty but difficult to eat They pour the chowder over a bowl that has about 6 baby clams still in the shell. You had to dig them out. The Shrimp Louie was not traditional. Very few shrimp and too little dressing. My wife had the Halibut. She said it was ok. Our waitress was very good.

We enjoyed our food as usual, and the staff was excellent, including those at the entry when we arrived. Also the staff person serving us at the table where we ate was amazing .

Our meal was good. Service is good and friendly staff. We didn’t like our butter nut squash at all. It was bland. The Caesar salads didn’t have enough dressing. The fish and scallops are very good. I just wish vegetables or rice can come with our sea bass fish. We had to order separate dishes. With the cost they charge, they should include something. Overall, is good but the prices they charge are too expensive!

I wish I had discovered Tides sooner. While most people likely visit for the seafood, I am a steak girl and was blown away by the filet mignon. The ambience was lovely. Staff was superb!

Food was very good, no complaints there. The service was spotty at best. Had to ask several times for plates and for bread. They didn’t have the caviar or the bottle of wine we chose. When we did get a different bottle of wine it wasn’t chilled. The server was very nice and pleasant herself. The restaurant was not busy.

Absolutely the best dining experience! We went to Tides for my mom’s 80th birthday! The food was amazing and the service was awesome! I highly recommend going to tides for dinner!

It was our first visit to Tides, and we were impressed by the excellent service and delicious food. However, my wife and I were a bit disappointed that, despite being one of only two tables in the restaurant, the other table was recognized for their anniversary with a special dessert, while we were overlooked. We felt a bit slighted, especially since we had noted our own anniversary in the reservation. It seemed like a missed opportunity for personalized attention.

Our evening was excellent from start to finish! I highly recommend the calamari... probably my favorite thing! The scallop risotto was also amazing !!!

We heard a lot about Tides and were excited to see a seafood restaurant in the area. We booked Sunday night and things weren’t too busy inside, the wait staff was attentive and knew their menu very well. The mushroom soup was excellent: deep, rich flavor without the tons of cream we’ve experienced at other places. Things weren’t as good on the main entrees: the fries were so salty and over seasoned that we left them untouched, the lobster pasta was over cooked but the sauce and noodles were excellent. My dish with the squid ink pasta had sauce that was also too salty: I just ate the seafood and left the rest. Maybe we got unlucky and it was a bad night since most of the reviews online give rave reviews.
