Located on William Gunn Jetty, Tide has become a favourite with Manly's locals and visitors to the area since opening in 2016. Drop anchor at Tide any day of the week and enjoy fresh breakfast, tapas or a meal, and of course, a great selection of Australian, New Zealand and international wines. We also have a great cocktail list, beers and cider on tap, coffee, tea and sweets.

The staff were helpful when they attended our table but unfortunately that was only for initial drink and food orders. We tried to flag them down for extra help multiple times but were unable to catch their attention as they were absorbed by larger parties. No salt and pepper on the table and couldn’t get any before food started to cool. Finally got to order a second round of drinks and one was forgotten. I had to walk up to the bar to ask for it, and a staff member was leaning on the bar on her phone. We weren’t in her section, but it was annoying to see regardless. It’s a beautiful restaurant, but quality and service could improve. My Fettuccine Marinara was average, tomato base was watery and lacked salt and pepper. Reasonable value for money if you’re not expecting a special occasion. Bonus points for letting us split the bill and pay separately. I’d go back for a brunch to try it in a different service period, only because it’s a beautiful location. But if I experienced similar service and food quality again I’d give it a miss from then on. Staff name tags would be a good idea.

Food was Devine! Service was exceptional and the outlook is always magic. Love all our visits to Tide on the Jetty!

We ordered snapper burger, haloumi burger, lamb shanks, and two mushroom and truffle gnocchi. The ladies said they couldn't taste the truffle and the one with the lamb shank was appalled at the small size. The burgers were nice. We had cocktails and wine, however after we received our meals, no one reattended the table for 45 minutes despite us trying to get someone's attention to order dessert and more drinks. Regardless, we just left and went elsewhere. One of the workers looked like she'd rather be absolutely anywhere else.

Restaurant is in a gorgeous location and the food was great. Service however was a let down and really set a bad tone to the experience

Being a regular to Tide on the Jetty for quite a few years, we always enjoy attending for breakfasts. However, we feel the breakfast menu is getting a bit tired. If ordering same meal regularly, it can depend on who cooks it if the quantity and presentation is the same each time. Also, the morning manager on a Sunday doesn't always portray enthusiasm. Having a very good understanding about client service and acknowledgement, I think a little more boost of enthusiasm would lift the atmosphere. however, the wait staff are always very good and compliments to the new guy who was on shift on Sunday morning 27 Oct. He was very polite, engaged in conversation whilst still keeping his focus on the task at hand. Regardless, we will still continue to support TOTJ Thank You

Great location, I have never paid so much money for a glass of wine. Oysters were superb, main meal was borderline warm. The youth hanging around the jetty completely puts a negative on the whole experience and needs to be monitored. All for them having fun but when they start throwing water in plastic cups where we are having our meal, swearing, playing loud music, our bill that was over $300 for lunch for 3 people is very on the nose. I wouldn't return for this reason.

Beautiful location. We have been coming here since it opened many years ago, always recommend.

Great restaurant right on the bay, next to the marina and boat ramp. Food and service was great, would highly recommend.

Went on a public holiday to celebrate a birthday, so expected it to be busy. Wait staff explained there may be a delay as they had just got a few large tables in. I don't recall the wait being excessive. Staff were friendly and the food was great. Everyone in our party was happy with the overall experience. Will definitely be back.

The service and food quality has dipped since we were there last. I counted 5 staff behind the bar standing around during a busy lunch service. We had drinks orders forgotten about and the waitstaff had no interest in serving us.
