Not what I expected at all. I came to for a birthday dinner for my significant other & we did not enjoy the experience. I feel that if you are paying $50 plus for a steak and white table cloth setting, the environment should match. The environment resembles Cracker Barrel or Logan’s. Also, the host or server was not attentive. She forgot that I checked in for my reservation and also walked us to a party after I told her we had a reservation for 2. We arrived at 7:30 and wasn’t greeted by the server until 8:15. We got our food around 8:45 and stayed until closing. Food was mediocre. We both ordered the small filet with a baked potato. It was compared to Ruth Chris, I disagree. Overall, we both decided that we don’t desire to try again.

As always the service was second to none! Lady is the absolutely the best server that has ever worked in the restaurant business! The quality of the food was excellent as well!

Charged us$120 for a bone in ribeye that was nothing but fat . Spinach came out cold and asked for another one and it came out cold . Awful experience!

Overall the food was ok. However my load baked potato tasted burnt. The restaurant was clean my waiter was new but was knowledgeable about the menu.

I never have a problem paying for a great meal. Luckily the service was amazing, but the food drastically fell short. It was so unreasonably expensive. Again, would pay a lot for a great steak, but there was no flavor, one was not cooked to the proper temp (which they redid no issues). The onion rings and calamari you could get at my mediocre restaurant and weren’t very hot at all. Didn’t eat the mushrooms either. I am still so disappointed in what we paid and what we received. I would never go back and risk it again. Which really stinks bc Oxford needs elevated food so bad!
