Amazing place to eat and drink. Great value at smoking coal- the sharing platter was gorgeous. Drinks were also lovely, great selection and fast service. Only problem was unsupervised groups of small children running right past the table on a loop screaming. No problem with parents enjoying the venue with their children, but don’t have them running round alone like that- it’s not a crèche.

Food was great. Salt and pepper chips a little disappointing but everything else great. It was quite loud due to the bingo but fab time.

Very good food and a very nice place for anyone and easy way to after food the food come fast and is very tasty

Visited early Sunday afternoon 1.45 with our two young teens. Nice sunny day thought would be a good atmosphere. First impression was poor atmosphere low playing chilled music. Half of the bars and ice cream hut not even open! Poor quality expensive drinks. A mojito that was ready mixed and a double gin and tonic in a normal tall glass and flat tonic from a scyphon not from freshly opened bottle @ £10 asked for a proper gin glass and told this was it. Frozen mocktails lovely and hand made was the only thing we liked for our kids. Food very mediocre and expensive. Heated up pizza. £10 a slice. Arcade token paid and some games didn't play - no one around to inform. Not much for teens let alone kids to do given they are very welcomed there.

Fabulous venue for a birthday celebration. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was great quality and reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

This was our fist time at freight island, we loved it! The food was amazing with loads to choose from, ready very quickly, we will definitely be bk!

Many options for food were already out of stock and actually there wasn’t a variety! Also big waiting times. I didnt like that everything is self service. It was weird. They have QR codes to order food, but then you have to go to collect it. For drinks there is not a menu and you have to to order and wait and then go back to your table. So you have to pick up sth at least twice. It’s more like a food court than a multi space. I thought it would be more like Diecast. The food was delicious! Mia's Arepas were excellent! Drinks were okay. Prices were 15+ per person without drinks.

Myself and my three companions.. overall liked it but we didn’t like the cardboard bowls & plates & wood cutlery! Also we thought the music was too loud to be able to talk to each other over the table, and not a very relaxing choice of music … It was our first time at freight island so was a bit confused at first on how to order food and drinks but once we worked it out, we got used to the ordering procedure! but did wish we had got drinks first then did the food orders second as our food was getting cold while getting drinks and we was eating at different times due to this… We ordered food from three different suppliers and The food was good and made quickly, we did enjoy the food from gyros/ pizza place and fuku but hated the cardboard bowls & plates, we thought the prices was fair and the portion sizes fair too.. there was a small wait at bar, but the bar service was excellent, and very customer friendly, I was impressed with the lad who served me and I’ve worked in hospitality, So I made a mental note of this … if I knew his name I would name him as excellent bar tender … Overall we had a good night in there, but quickly realised it’s more geared for the younger generation as myself and girlfriend are definitely young at heart we are in our 50’s… my son and his girlfriend are just teenagers and it was them that chose to go there for my sons birthday…. Another small note , when booking the table I did get asked for any special requests, I did request a bit of a staff surprise maybe with small cake for my son at table and I offered to pay extra for this but sadly nothing happened, but that didn’t reflect much on our experience there…. Overall we would give whole experience 7 out of 10 Bar service 10 out of 10….
