   Echoing another reviewer—Quick, book your reservation here before everyone finds this gem! The most inventive, fun, seriously delightful cooking in the desert. If you want old school, go elsewhere. If you want to taste new dishes made new and delicious ways, this is your place. And focus on trying the small plate menu.

   This place really makes true commitment to wuality in service and food as its counter partnin AZ. The restaurant is nice and quaint. Service is on point and food presentation and flavor were great! I ordered the trout and they debone it table side, its a beauty to see this happen next to you. Desserts are not that small, so dont order two to share as it will be quite a bit. However, they are worth it!

   We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The crudo appetizers was amazing. Hamachi tuna in a coconut broth with fennel and chili oil. So many layers of flavor. I had the Norwegian halibut with couscous topped with crispy leeks. Fish was perfect. My husband had the Denver steak topped with bone marrow butter with mole sauce. Perfect steak temp. The desert was the flan with shaved manchego cheese. Flan was silky and fluffy the salty cheese and the moscato wine all went well.

   Delightful! Impressive! Delicious! That’s what we kept saying to each other during our dinning experience at Tia Carmen. Starting with the ambience, dinner and drink menus and welcoming staff, to yummy wine and cocktails along with all our food delivered deliciously hot, to hardly noticing the staff removing used dishes. We would eat out more often if we experienced this level of class elsewhere.

   Tia Carmen offers a perfectly curated dining experience, with each course timed flawlessly. Ordering everything at once ensures a seamless flow, and our server, Yolanda, was incredibly knowledgeable, making the meal even more enjoyable. Every dish was expertly crafted—an experience not to be missed!

   Absolutely delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. Fresh, crisp salad with tasty dressing; flavorful octopus, beautifully garnished; grilled trout with crisp skin; steak, cooked perfectly; corn pudding, a great accompaniment to the main courses; rich chocolate log drizzled w syrup. Wonderful waitress, dishes promptly cleared and clean utensils provided. We will return soon to try other items on the interesting menu.

   Sad to say 2/4 food was just ok. 1/4 food was not good and 1/4 was terrific. Pan was delicious and dessert (flan) was exceptional.

    This place is an absolute gem in Indian Wells. Not only is the restaurant visually stunning but, the food is delectable and so beautifully plated. Also, the service is superb! You will feel like you are dining in a very fine restaurant. I can't say enough good things!
