Always enjoy coming here with either friends or family. The food is always very impressive, and we enjoyed being able to try the food from the Caribbean day. The cocktail we had was sooo nice!! Service is always good and friendly. See you again in the near future! Thank you for a lovely meal!

The staff were lovely. Really liked the decor. Importantly the food was delicous and good value. They also gave us a welcome glass of prosecco for our special occasion which was a very nice and welcome touch. We would definitely eat here again and recommend to others. It is particularly handy that they are also dog friendly though we were pooch free on this occasion.

Thoughtful efficient staff who gave us a free glass of Prosecco and a card as we were celebrating my daughter’s graduation. We had the small plates to share and the food was well presented and very tasty. Lovely lunchtime buzz- a really pleasant atmosphere. Good wine list too.

This is a bar and restaurant I’d say, with a good offering of food and drink, some cocktail deals, and menu and drinks deals midweek. I went on a Sunday, and they have rolling menu, which I imagine is great for regulars. I personally wanted beef which was on their website, but it wasn’t on that week. I thought the roast was a little smaller than I’d have liked, and the meat offering was small and fatty, and only crushed peas (with delicious bacon lardons) and a slice of half carrot for the veg. More veg, like parsnip, would have been good. Overall it’s a firm 3/5 from me, and the service was lovely by the way, great staff.

Fabulous Sunday lunch yesterday. Cooked to perfection and all the elements of the roast were sensational. The cauliflower gratin was just so tasty . Will definitely be going back not on a Sunday to try other things on the menu . Staff really friendly.

The food my partner and I had here was absolutely outstanding. His chips were ‘the best he’s ever had’. What a shame it was so quiet when other lesser bars/pubs were packed to the rafters on the Saturday night we visited. Maybe it’s a tad off the beaten track. The service was also second to none with our waitress allowing me to try a sample of a sauce before deciding upon my main course. 10/10!
