Delicious Roast Lamb Sunday dinner… great yorkies, roasties and gravy! Just enough room for sticky toffee afterward too… Friendly service. Really enjoyed the Mango Mocktail to start too 🙌

Booked a table for 4 to take my parents while they were over visiting and was really pleased we did. The food was great with everyone enjoying what was ordered. A big thank you would go to Amber who served us as she was excellent, really pleasant and we were all delighted to have her serve us through the evening.

Quieter than usual and the food wasn’t as good as usual. In particular none of the dishes were as hot as they should have been.

Staff friendly and helpful. We ordered a sausage ring as one of our main dishes and that’s what we got. I expected some side dish/veg as with the toast chicken. Not good value £32 for a ring of sausage.

Didn’t have a few things on the menu but didn’t tell us until we came to order. Starter wasn’t great. Service was slow

Food not cooked staff just stud about talking back ground music to loud as when the waitress was telling us the special you couldn’t hear her over all very poor and will not be recommending it to friends and also when the staff and making a fuss over dogs they should was there hands it stead of just coming over and taking slat and vinegar away as others have to use them

We booked because we had very much enjoyed the “small plates menu” (a bit like tapas) on a previous lunchtime visit. However, as this was Sunday it was not available. The traditional Sunday lunch was good but the rump top beef two of us had would have been easier to eat if it had been cut smaller and across the grain.

Fantastic food and service. Choices from the specials board were an excellent choice. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Usually really good but this evening we had to wait 45 mins for mains and beef in the roast was very tough. Everything else with meal was great, shame the meat spoilt it. Staff great as always and I must say this is 4th time we’ve been and previously it’s been fantastic, hopefully a one off.
