We are located in the historic Lalime's space in the Westbrae neighborhood of Berkeley, CA.

Our intentions with three.one four was to create a dining experience that is so captivating, it transcends all others. Our menu features small bites, salads, and World Class rustic pies from acclaimed Chef Mario Vollera. We utilize high quality Italian cheeses and fresh local products in our food and our menu is partnered with a carefully curated wine list featuring an extensive by the glass offering. We believe that our elevated food paired with our warm, intuitive, yet unobtrusive service style will help make three.one four a buzz-worthy neighborhood destination for many years to come.

We had a great experience. The food, pastas and pizzas were so tasty. And the tiramisu, AMAZING! The owner was our waiter and clearly cared deeply that we enjoyed everything. We’d definitely go back.

The pasta were were very good. The pizza falls a tad bit short of a place like benchmark but it’s still good. The flavors might actually be better but the crust does not hold up as well; needs to be a bit chewier. Overall place is nice. Good for dates both couples and singles. Has a more higher end feel than most restaurants in the area. A bit on the pricier side for a family type outing.

This place is becoming a favorite with us. There is a myriad of seating options from fantastic outdoor seating in back, two levels inside and even a couple of club chairs in front of a fireplace that are great for cocktails. The service is spot-on. Steven was our server last night and he's personable, knowledgeable and made us feel like we were in exactly the right place which, when you get down to it, is key. Our cocktails were perfect. We split the carbonara and a small appetizer and everything was perfect. Found a great and fairly priced BTG Super Tuscan but the owner also told me they have no corkage fee so we will do that next time. Parking is a little tight in the neighborhood so allow some time for that or rideshare. Also, both times we've been in it's been full so grab that OpenTable reservation to be safe.

Three.OneFour has a few new menu items and the ones I tried were outstanding. First, the Squash Pizza 2.0 may be the best pizza ever. Primarily soft winter squash and bacon (although I imagine non meat eaters could elect to leave the bacon off and it would still be great)--the flavor combination was that perfect combo of sweet, salty and creamy. I also loved the broccolini app with a tangy dressing, perfectly prepared. Cauliflower fritte with aioli was another tasty app, and the olive oil cake with raspberries, orange peel and whipped cream was again, a perfect combination and light enough to finish off a fantastic meal. This place has only been open since the spring, and although excellent in many ways from the start, I'd say the new dishes (and old) are worth checking out. Also, they have some great Happy Hour specials!

3.14 Get it? It really is a swanky place. Beautiful interiors. Lower entry level is clean and modern, and looks out into the street thru tall glass doors. Walk up to the bar level and the seating and ambience is dark, cozy and inviting. They have happy hour wine & cocktails until 6:30pm. I love the menu, it’s simple. A few appetizers (we had the fried brussels) and finely crafted pizza. The service was spot on. You won’t be disappointed. My date and I were very impressed. MarkD

The food was great, but we were seated outside next to a speaker playing loud, obnoxious music which all sounded the same with irritating auto-tuned lyrics and electronic drums. It wouldn't have been as noticeable if we were seated indoors where the noise level was higher, but it was annoying where we were seated. The server asked if it could be turned down, but speakers are all connected & they couldn't just turn one speaker down. The couple next to us also asked for the volume to be lowered, so it wasn't just us. The environment/ambiance is important to us when dining out. We expected a more relaxing/chill environment, especially when the restaurant title is Three One Four ... a SWANKY pizza lounge. Guess our description of SWANKY is different. Also, another diner brought their dog along...again, not swanky :(

4 of us had a lovely first time visit to three.one four. We shared pizzas, salads, cacio e pepe and tiramisu that were all tasty. The staff was wonderful and did not rush us. Vibe is cool and comfortable. We will definitely be returning.
