We are located in the historic Lalime's space in the Westbrae neighborhood of Berkeley, CA.

Our intentions with three.one four was to create a dining experience that is so captivating, it transcends all others. Our menu features small bites, salads, and World Class rustic pies from acclaimed Chef Mario Vollera. We utilize high quality Italian cheeses and fresh local products in our food and our menu is partnered with a carefully curated wine list featuring an extensive by the glass offering. We believe that our elevated food paired with our warm, intuitive, yet unobtrusive service style will help make three.one four a buzz-worthy neighborhood destination for many years to come.

Phenomenal. Chic. Delicious. Great pizzas, which can be made with exquisite gluten-free crust if requested. Service was warm and welcoming. We loved everything about our experience and can’t wait to return.

Really good food. Everything - salads, pasta, pizza. The service is friendly and comfortably paced and the owner is dedicated to quality. My only criticism is that the downstairs area is not nearly so cozy as the upstairs. Unfortunate pink walls are lit too brightly to provide any ambiance. Also unfortunate is the huge elevator painted “cement neutral” that faces the diners downstairs. Could it be painted black (or even pink) to blend in and be less obtrusive?

This is a great neighborhood destination for taking family and friends. You have to be in the mood for inventive pizza. The crust was how I like it, crispy/chewy.

We like the creative and delicious Brussels sprouts and cauliflower starters as well as the little gem Caesar and radicchio salads. The butternut squash and Lalime’s lamb pizzas are delicious. The ambiance and service are great, but the noise levels hit 90 decibels and higher according to my iPhone and it was challenging to have a conversation with another couple at our table, whether sitting upstairs or downstairs. Disappointing that no decaf espresso or coffee was available from Thursday Jan 16 until Jan 21, according to the server. Since the Berkeley Natural Grocery is across the street, management should have considered getting decaf options during interim. Also suggest offering smaller pizza options to minimize need to take home leftovers.
