The food was very lovely. Frustrated that lots of options were missing from the menu, and for a rose wine festival you’d expect them to have lots of bottles of rose. But food was delicious and location was great

There was only one person on the bar so we had to wait 10 + minutes before we were shown to our table, which was the same person from behind the bar, he gave us our drinks then took our order (same person), the fod came out after a long wait, the meat (beef roast) was very good as the roast pots, yorkshire pudding and gravey, my wifes carrots were still whole and realy under cooked as was my parsnip which I could not cut, so I asked for another one, we did not stay for a dessert, we informed the rest of our family, so they will not be coming, you have lost 6 customers all told, what a shame, the person behind the bar was very helpful but over worked.

Sunday lunch booking for Father's Day. Great menu and choices. A bit of a wait on food and standard of food definitely wasn't as good as the last time we visited.

The food and service was very good. The room was rather cold when we arrived on an extremely cold June evening. The staff soon switched on the heating and we eventually enjoyed the welcome warmth.

Food was good and well presented, staff were friendly and attentive. Refurbished a couple of years to a really good standard. Would definitely go again.

We visited twice and on both visits the menu looked good but the food let it down. Very basic ingredients, tasteless and bland with no attempt made to garnish the food. The front of house staff were very polite and the refurb of the pub was just right. However too much is being charged for what are very non inspiring meals.
