Despite being short staffed we were served promptly Food was fresh and hot and the evening entirely enjoyable.

The pub was full but only 2 staff doing the bar, taking orders, serving food, clearing tables. It ended up the chef was serving meals to tables. No fault of the staff who were doing their best and looked shattered. We ended up waiting 30 mins for our sweets. We felt it needed 2 additional people on tables.

A really good choice of menu - and thus price. Excellent vegetarian choice - at least 4+ to choose from - not just the token one which some pubs offer. Thank you for that! Good quality food. We will be back to try out some of the other options. I did think, for a Bank Holiday Monday, some waiting staff might have relieved pressure on the bar staff. A great local pub. Very relaxed and dog friendly. Thank you.

The food and the staff were very good. However the service was very slow. Table was booked for 2pm . Our mains were served about 3.30pm. Appreciate it was busy, maybe staff shortages?

Gorgeous pub in a lovely setting! Food and as enjoyed by everyone. 1st time visiting but would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!
