The ambience was delightful, very welcoming. We were shown to our table immediately and were so well looked after throughout the evening. The food is excellent, well presented and reasonably priced. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Absolutely delicious roast dinner - the yorkshires were the size of my head and the chicken was really well done. I think the absolute star of the show was the dessert though - really recommend this cute little country pub 🥰

We booked a celebration birthday dinner for 10 in the upstairs dining room where there is a large table in a screened off section of the room witha small bar. The service was attentive, friendly and professional, and the food was very good with something on the menu for everyone. We all had a good time. We would go there again.

Very much enjoyed another visit to this super place for our anniversary, staff all very friendly and helpful. Only one vegan option on the main courses and no obvious pudding although we established that the treacle tart was accidentally so!
