Nestled on the outskirts of Higham village along the River Medway, The Three Crutches is the perfect country escape for both locals and visitors alike. Our traditional pub offers old world rustic charm, fused with cosy corners and alfresco dining to enjoy with the whole family. Whether sipping a refreshing cocktail in our courtyard and watching the day pass by or indulging in our renowned Sunday roast next to one of our open fires, you'll feel at home and catered for any time of year.

    4 of us went to the three crutches for a meal as we haven't been there before. The meals and starters were very large so didn't have any puddings. The staff were very polite and helpful. There was also a free quiz which we didn't realise which we also enjoyed. Only 1 downside was the chef had only been working for 2 days and he didn't know how to cook steak so that was off the menu. Hopefully next time we go back he would have learnt how to cook it.

    I hsve visited a few times now and my experience I always excellent! The food is always fabulous, with an extensive menu, and it’s also great value. We usually visit with a large group and each meal is faultless. The other aspect that deserves a mention is the fantastic customer service we experience from every member of staff. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel very welcome.. 5* from me!

    Went for lunch with family, food and service was very good. Nice traditional pub that has a little more personality than a lot of the other pubs in the area. Great pub and very dog friendly. Good value and left very full, will be going again.

    Very slow service. Food could have been a lot better. As it was boxing day it should have been a lot more festive, but the tables were not done up, nothing made it festive. Real shame really sorry but not worth the money we paid.
