Service from arrival to departure impeccable. The outdoor Veranda is absolutely gorgeous and the views don’t get any better. Menu was perfect mix for everyone. Wagu burger delish, halibut scrumptious and fish and chips perfect. Don’t forget to order starters from the sushi menu. We had an incredible salmon roll.

The food was okay, I expected more but it lacked flavor and I know since I’ve had the Wagyu burger from New York to Paris . Everyone that worked there was nice but I would not go back.

Exceptional service and stunning food prepared with love. An unparalleled location on Pleasant Bay. I have a shrimp allergy and every measure was taken to ensure my safety. 10/10 a complete indulgence and worth every penny.

We had a terrible dining experience last night. The Cesar salad was drowning in dressing a pool of it on the plate and wilted lettuce. My burger was ordered medium it came out medium rare to rare and when sent back it was still rare. The staff was not very accommodating.

Can’t beat the view and ambiance. We had a dinner reservation at 6:30pm which was perfect to see the sunset over the bay. Food was good but not anything extraordinary, though still very enjoyable. Definitely get the truffle fries! Dessert was the star: raspberry cheesecake with lemon sorbet.

Lovely restaurant with an awesome view. It was raining so we had to eat inside. The food was very good. The wait staff was extremely attentive Enjoyable evening all around

We were seated at a table very near where servers were working. Also a large party came in, and were extremely loud making conversation almost impossible. Food and drinks and server were great, but overall experience suffered

Enjoyed our last evening at this lovely resort, and had a casual but elegant meal at Thoreau's. Our waiter was the BEST. I wish I remember his name -but he was attentive, friendly and made the meal that much more enjoyable. We started with the duck bao buns, which were delicious and perfect for our party of 3. Then we each enjoyed salads, salmon, chicken thighs and a veggie pasta bowl - all terrific. We dined early - at 6:15pm and the atmosphere was cozy, with a terrific view of the bay. We loved every minute and can't wait to come back again.

Food was ok, steak came out cold and under temp. They managed to bring a new one out quickly, which made up for it. Service made up for it though! They brought out a cute ice cream and chocolates for a birthday celebration.
