Experience at the brunch buffet this Sunday was definitely poor compared to our many other visits. I find that the service really depends who you get as a server. In our last visit, our plates were not taken promptly, there were multiple times that we have four used plates sitting on the table after us getting new plates of food. The server got our order of egg Benedict wrong. She gave us one when we ordered two, then the second one we got was with a fully cooked poached egg instead of medium egg. Last but not least, went with our children and were given a bill for four adults and took two attempts to have that corrected. I think I’m going to take a break from visiting the Thomson after this experience since there are definitely other options in the city.

Went for Sunday brunch. Great selection and the food tasted great. Our server was very attentive. We will be back.

The food and service were excellent, but I've reduced points because we arrived at 11 am on a Saturday morning to discover that the restaurant had ceased serving breakfast at 10:45. I appreciate that during the week there is a business lunch crowd and the kitchen has to be ready. However on the weekend, I am accustomed to being able to have brunch or see the breakfast menu until 1 pm or so. Disappointing. Further I am gluten-intolerant and was looking forward to having choices from the breakfast menu that were a welcome change from the usual fare. The lunch choices were considerably more limited unless I wanted to pay ~$40 for an entree, not half that for a breakfast choice.

This used to be an amazing Sunday brunch but it has really gone downhill. Made a reservation for 2 on the patio. When we arrived we were told the patio was not open. Food selection was the usual breakfast items. Where did the amazing cinnamon rolls go 🫤. Most dishes were next to empty and not replenished very quickly. Dessert selection was a joke. For $45/person I expected so much more. I will say that the eggs benny were basically the only good thing. Unfortunately we won’t be back…

We went at noon on Friday of Calgary Stampede week. Was very surprised at how not busy it was. Apparently they get more of a breakfast and dinner crowd. The food was good, the price reasonable and the service very good. I’d go again when I’m downtown.

What a find! We visited Calgary as a stop over and found Thomason's, it was amazing. We had the buffet brunch, so much choice and top quality. The staff were also so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Amazing food, tried the chicken risotto and the chicken sandwich. The chicken risotto is insane, they do it right here as well as the chicken sandwich, complimented with chunks of pinapple which go so great together! Will definitely be returning, great date spot :) The drinks were phenomenal as well, the old fashioned is always great here Thank you for a wonderful time
