We sat at their beautiful bar first for a drink before dinner then sat in the beautiful dining room to the right (we’ve always sat on the other side, so this was a nice change also)….everything as always was absolutely perfect! Food, ambiance, service…. Everything was outstanding!

Excellent service food was Delicious but the only complaint I have is the server should worn better attire, but his performance and personality was a 10!Loved the atmosphere and deco was fit for a Princess! Celebrate a birthday there!

The food was delicious and the server was awesome. He was very friendly and stopped to talk to us, asked us how everything was, told us it’s his parents restaurant and was amicable.

Had a lovely experience for Mother’s Day with my mom and my wife. We were wonderfully taken care of by Andrew who shared his passion for the business and his knowledge of this historical building and the restoration. Great food and wonderful, personal and attentive service. Made for a special occasion for us to celebrate our family in the midst of the atmosphere of Thompson Manor . Well done!

I was very disappointed with my experience, for being a steak house the server lacked experience in table etiquette. Extra cutlery was not removed when need be etc. The food was okay but not for the price that you pay for it. The scalloped potatoes seemed to be repeatedly reheated and dry. The service was extremely slow our server also wrote down our order and had to come back and ask twice about what we had ordered. If you looking for a fine dining steak house experience I would not recommend this place.

It is a nice place. We have been 4 times now and the last visit will be the last. We were there 2 1/2 hours The food was fine and the service was barely ok. The meals were served in a very disjointed fashion, with the fourth meal brought out finally after the others were served well before so we had to eat so ours wouldn’t get cold. The last meal was served without its side dish which we were told would be right out. She had to eat her meal so it wouldn’t get cold. We finally saw the waiter to ask for the side dish which he eventually brought but by then she had finished her meal and really didn’t want the side dish at that point. The service didn’t justify the price of the meal

All was good. It really comes down to price for quality. A $37 pasta meal with some beef tips and mushrooms is quite high. If it were a $20 meal I would say it is a 4.5 star quality but at $37 it is definitely not. It was something I could easily make myself at home. I want quality to be better than what I can do. Really nice facility. Service was great.

One of the best in Windsor Essex county! Staff is amazing, portions are great and the food is incredible. I’ve dined both inside and on the patio; every time I go l’m impressed. The atmosphere is unique and upscale. Shoutout to our server Nick who made the night so enjoyable and makes one hell of an old fashioned!
