Thirteen is an upscale, elevated dining restaurant offering an unmeasurable experience right in the heart of Midtown Houston, Tx. Founded by NBA Star, James Harden, Thirteen was a labor of love built on Harden's passion for excellent food and wine, while bringing something different and fresh to the city that you can't find anywhere else.

At Thirteen, we enforce a strict, upscale dress code. We do not allow overly revealing clothing, athletic apparel, jerseys, ball caps, bandanas, sleeveless shirts, or tank tops. Beachwear and gym attire including but not limited to sweatpants, hoodies, or pool slides are also prohibited in both the dining and lounge area.

The ambiance was terrible. The music wasn’t on when we arrived and when it did start the selections were terrible and the sound of the music kept going up and down and then the music was turned off for about 30min. Our waiter Shea was great, but the food wasn’t worth the ticket price at the end of service. The restaurant is separate from the lounge, but you have a man walking around asking if we want hookah. Honestly, if I came to eat, I would like to eat and talk to friends. If I wanted hookah then I’d go to the lounge. For an upscale restaurant it lacked a lot of attributes that would consider it that! I will not be back

The experience was very nice. It wasn’t stuffy but could’ve been a tad bit cooler, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The food was exquisite! From the wings, to the fried shrimp, to the spinach/crab dip right on down to the truffle fries!! It was amazing! James Harden’s champagne wasn’t bad either. A few people were a little loud watching the football game but it was tolerable! The Dj was ON!!!! Overall, 9.5 out of 10! I’ll definitely be back when I’m visiting again!

We had a reservation but experienced a problem with our surroundings that caused us to leave before been greeted by a server.

The food is overrated. Not tasty at all. Expensive and not good. Its looks nice though

I loved it here. It took me back to the 90’s and early 2000’s with the amazing playlist of music. The food was delicious drinks were great.

Food was great. But we should have ate in the dining room and not the lounge so that mistake was on me. Service was great until our server was taken away. Found out later from the manager that he took her away for a big party. He tried to make it better when we were leaving which was nice of him but the experience soured it for me. I’ll give it another chance one day but you know there’s so many other great places to go in Houston so it might not happen. Also gratuity of 20% was placed automatically on the bill for our party of two so didn’t see that coming.

We went on a Wednesday so it was not busy. The food was ok. It's not a place I'd go back to. Service was great, but 20% tip for 3 people was automatic. That was not expected. Drinks were good but sweet.

My reservation was at 8:15pm. We did not get seated until 9:38pm. There’s minimal seating in the lobby. Restaurant allows hookah in the dinning room so of course no one is in a rush to leave. The manage tried to get tables to leave but literally no one was leaving the restaurant. Also offered the lounge but it was entirely filled with smoke and that wasn’t where we wanted to hold a birthday dinner. Hookah should really be reserved for the party rooms and lounge so dinner can flow. Manager compensated with comping our drinks and providing free apps. Food was good. Love the ambiance. Love the music choice (R&B, chill hip hop, & house). Not sure if I’d return.

We came here last year and had a wonderful time. This recent visit wasn’t the same. Even though the new renovations are nice the new menu isn’t. Wish that would’ve stayed the same.
