Third and Main is a top-of-the-line steak house and tavern in historic Aurora, IN. From in house dry aging our steaks to carrying the largest selection of wagyu beef in the Midwest, we have it all. If steak isn't your favorite we also have a fresh seafood selection weekly with a full sushi and raw bar.

Located in one of the oldest operating taverns in Indiana, Third and Main carries on the historic traditions with an upscale menu in a casual atmosphere. Just a short drive from Cincinnati along the Ohio River, this family-owned and operated restaurant is a great place to get away from the bustle of city living.

Our 120 year old bar is fully-stocked with over 275 different bourbons, domestic, import and craft beers and a variety of select wines we feature proudly. Stop in and have a seat at our 120 year old bar to see why Third and Main is a local Tri-State favorite.

The salmon and mashed potatos were amazing! Best we have ever had! However, if you want half priced apps before 6, you can't rely on the waiter/waitress to come back in time to order before the cut off.

2nd time here. Had the mussels appetizer and the bread service. Both incredible. Ordered the 12 ounce Australian Wagyu ribeye. Cooked perfectly and very delicious. All other members of our group loved their food. My only complaint is they have an extensive bourbon list and the first 2 I ordered were out of stock. Would like to see them update their bourbon list to reflect what they have on hand. Birthday dinner so we had the lemon ricotta donuts for dessert. Fantastic. It takes us an hour to get to the restaurant but it is well worth it for us.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Third and Main due to their consistently excellent food and service. The Australian Wagyu steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed a shrimp cocktail, which was delicious and accompanied by a tasty cocktail sauce. We started our meal inside and then moved outside to enjoy our our delicious drinks (Thirds Redemption and a Manhattan) Enjoyed the setting and music. A perfect date night!

Amazing experience! We love coming here and decided to bring my parents to see why we love it so much. Our server was Katya (aka Kat) and she was phenomenal. For our drinks, appetizer, mains and desserts everything was wonderful. My mom called me this morning to tell me thank you for showing us this place.

We had reservations and got there early. We got water early on, drinks took a while. Food was mostly good, drinks went dry. Expected more for what we paid.

The food was excellent 10/10 we got the waygu and loved it however the service was as terrible. Waited 5+ minutes standing at host stand before greeted then host pointed to table instead of walked us to the table.. then took 20 minutes before server came over to table and after he finally took our order (another 20 minutes later) we didn’t see him til he dropped off the check. Couldn’t get a refill on water or our bottle of wine and someone else brought the food to us. When spending $200+ on a dinner for two I would expect the service to be top notch. Would love to come Back for the steak but not sure if we will pick this over Jeff Ruby’s or another comparable steak house again…

My husband wanted to try Japanese Wagyu steak so we decided to go to Third and Main. We knew it would be expensive but assumed the size of the steak would be normal. We paid $150 for the ribeye. It was super small and thin. Probably about 4-6 ounces which wasn’t told to us or printed on the menu. Steak was delicious but tiny

Third and Main never disappoints. Excellent tomato soup, Cesar salad, angel hair pasta and NY Strip. Tony took great care of us.
