                                                          Disappointed is a massive understatement. Tried to order 3 different bottles of red wine on their menu and they actually had none of them. Had to settle for a glass of salty red wine. Yuck. The waitress was nice but clearly out of her depth with no real server training. The food was mediocre at best. The NY strip was smaller than expected and barely cooked to order and whoever thought of putting some ice cold olive mixture on a cooked steak should have their head examined. The fillet was just ok. The chocolate bomb or whatever dessert barely had any chocolate flavor to it, and had no dark chocolate at all which it was described to have. We took a bite each and left it. When we told the waitress what we thought little to no reaction was received and no effort to take it off the bill. So 2 steaks and glasses of red and a crappy dessert $169. Outrageous!!

                                                          Kayle provided excellent service and the recommendations she made for cocktails and entrees lived up to the hype. Limoncello Spritz perfect on a summer night! Short ribs and chicken were excellent.

                                                          Excellent food all around. We got the filet and NY strip and both were excellent. Both were slightly overcooked— but the quality cut and meat prep overcame and thus flavor was unaffected by this issue. Flash fried okra was outstanding. Twice baked potato was very good. Bread service was very good but over priced. Bananas bread pudding was outstanding. Restaurant was slow and thus we would have expected more attentive/ faster service but we enjoyed the experience overall and would definitely recommend.

                                                          The food and server, David, was excellent. He was attentive but not intrusive and gave us time to talk and enjoy. He checked in regularly and had great knowledge of the menu. The only issue was the time it took in the kitchen to cook the food. It was surprising as there were only 3-5 parties max in the restaurant. Prices are on par with the food and venue. Cocktails were a bit sweet, but my old fashion was good.

                                                          Ordered the bread and butter “appetizer” $10 for 2 slices of stale bread and some sort of muffin Ordered the cast iron filet for $55. Ordered it medium. It came out and the first 1/8 of an inch was well done and tough the middle was rare. They did not give us a steak knife. We also were there from 7:20-8:45. The service was slow and the people were just meh. I don’t normally write reviews like this but this was a bad experience.

                                                          Had Sunday night dinner. Food was excellent. Warm pita bread was wonderful. We had Braised short ribs, pan seared tuna and chicken picatta for our entree s. Peach cobbler was fabulous!. David, our server, was attentive, but not obtrusive so we could have leisurely family meal. Cost was in line with food and service. Would definitely return.
