Please note the pub is currently CLOSED due to a kitchen refurbishment. We will be back open the evening of Friday 8th March!

A beautiful 16th century inn nestled in the peacefully picturesque village of Warehorne. The Woolpack is opposite St Matthew’s church and surrounded by grazing Romney Marsh sheep. There’s a wonderfully welcoming bar, comforting food and five characterful guest rooms.

Lovely Sunday roast, tender meat. well presented. Portions just right too. Staff friendly and welcoming. Wholly recommended!

We had mussels to share as a starter. Wonderful, fennel and a taste of anis, extraordinary and excellent. As a main we had rump o kentish lamb which was superb, rarely had it in this quality before. The crumble apple/rhubarb was a delight, crunchy and fruity. A real recommondation and wonderful service, thank you.

One of those Summer days that should never end. One of the prettiest locations for a pub in a quiet backwater looking over at the Church The delightful and attentive staff serve tables inside and out with quiet efficiency. The menu while limited has enough for most tastes and selection of wines and beers excellent albeit pricey (where isn’t these days ) Plenty of outdoor seating available and easy parking on road makes it an easy choice

Homely feel, ambiance is really nice. Very welcoming staff. Food was good although rather pricey. Would definitely return nonetheless. A great way to celebrate Father’s Day.

We booked this last minute for my birthday whilst away in Kent on holiday. What a beautiful find, we could not fault anything. The lovely waitress, the fantastic food and wine, just everything with so lovely. We visit Kent every year so this will be a definite place we will re visit next year!

We very much enjoyed our visit for dinner on Friday evening. The staff were attentive and very patient when one of our party was late and when we kept changing our mind about what we wanted to eat ! The food was delicious and there was a good choice of wine. Would highly recommend - not our first visit and certainly not our last.
