Second time at the carvery, this time the food wasn’t very warm. Didn’t complain as the gravy heated up the food and had sat down after being at the carvery. Did tell waitress when asked if all was well. Food would have been nice if warm.

Had an excellent meal with friends, the staff were very friendly. 3 of us had the carvery and the other had the house burger.

Nice food nice people good communication we had to wait for the spuds to cook we choose not to have any but did not miss them will try again

It was one of the worst meals I have ever had the meat was dried up as it was the very end of the joint there was 3 of us we all had different meats and were all horrible the veg was mushy and cold and gravy was like water I have never complained about a meal in my life but that was the worse ever will never go back and will pass on to friends so they don’t make the mistake like I did one of my friends was in there as well with his wife he couldn’t eat his either and left

I keep going back as I do hope that things will improve But again not overly impressed Meat was very tough Vedgtables all undercooked and Yorkshire puddings rock hard such a shame

This pub was great when first discovered the carvery. But today the food had no taste and looked like it had been out for a long time. The restaurant wasn’t busy

Had an amazing meal at the Woodman last night. There were 9 of us. We all really enjoyed our meals, all homemade. Lewis behind the bar was amazing. He was doing everything and was so polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Jools was in the kitchen and he was super friendly and chatted to us all. Will definitely be back.
