Fairly standard public house with eating area. Service was friendly and relatively quick . Food very nice with fresh veg well cooked meat . Next door bar with football game showing meant aptmosphere was more pub that restaurant.

It’s all About The Gravy with Carverys From Our point of View and this was very Thin and flavourless and The Portion size of the Meat My sons Gammon Looked like Wafer Thin Ham The large Plate Upgrade isn’t worth it , this is only our Experience on the Day a plus Side the Staff were very professional and Friendly And we’ll Certainly Give them Another Try 👍

Visiting with my friends for their anniversary trying somewhere different, the food was not worth coming for. Only people in the pub eating and drinking. Food was inadequate and poor variety of mixed veg (half a carrot and a few peas). Service staff (front of house/bar) non existent until customers shouted for help. According to the staff the meat order didn't arrive and this was 2pm and 3/4 of the menu was not available and very little choice. It was not edible. No point complaining as nothing the staff could have done but apologise. No adequate presentable staff appearance. 2 other people visiting spoke to a staff member and decided not to stay which was good choice. That is 3 customers not returning even for drinks or word of mouth to visit for other people. Chef came out in his chef clothes and a teatowel and dirty.

Carvery was very nice and very good value. We sat outside. The outside space could do with some attention. Overall it was a really nice visit and I would certainly return again
