The Wine Whisperer is a boutique wine shop and wine bar located in Richmond's Short Pump neighborhood. We speak wine and are passionate about sharing your new favorite bottle or glass with you!

Our wine bar is designed to offer a more immersive experience to our guests. Let our knowledgeable staff help you learn about your palate and curate a flight of wine just for you! Look for rotating by the glass and by the bottle lists, a selection of craft beers, and an expansive food menu that changes weekly and is designed to enhance the bottle of wine you're enjoying. Join us each Wednesday night between 5 - 7:30 pm for our weekly Winesday tasting. Featuring Whisperer favorites and new additions to the line up, this tasting is a casual, drop in event. No tickets are needed in advance. Tickets are $20 at the door ($10 for Wine Club Members!) and no reservations are required. We’d love to see you at the tasting table!

Always amazing here. Amber, Jenna, Ingrid, Josh and Alex are all wonderful. I always get a Dealers choice flight where they pick three tastings based on my tastes. They always ask great questions so that they can really bring me wines that fit my preferences. The food is always great too. I love that they are always adding and subtracting items based on the season so there is always something new. Love it!

First time at the Wine Whisperer. The server was knowledgeable about the wine and cocktails and guided our selections really well. He was attentive at just the right level. We ordered a variety of items off the me menu to share and we cleaned our plates! We will definitely be back!

Having enjoyed many wonderful meals with perfectly paired wines many times at the gem of a restaurant, each visit is like coming home again. 🥰

If you want a relaxing evening with friends that know everything you ever wanted to know about wine then head to the The Wine Whisperer. Excellent wine selection and great food. If you seek more knowledge then attend one of Jenna’s or Amber’s classes on wine. Where else could you learn about the biodynamics of wine. You must have the whisperers deal you a flight and enjoy a night with friends.

As usual, our wine tasting flights, nibbles, and entres were all delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable about wine -- shout outs to Jenna, Amber, Alex, Ingrid, and Josh, the best wine staff in Richmond!

The place is small which allows the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff to be super-attentive and keeps the noise levels to a minimum. The food is amazing and the wines are top-notch.

Jenna is extremely knowledgeable about champagne and tonight she did not disappoint! The champagne was fabulous and Ingrid did a great job recommending and serving the delicious appetizers. We love this place!!
