A small corner of Italy in the heart of Covent Garden.

The Wine Place offers an authentic Italian experience focusing on an unmatched range of Italian wines that can be purchased or tasted by the glass.

The wines, spanning all 20 Italian regions, can be enjoyed alongside meticulously sourced Italian cold cuts, cheeses, salad, hot snacks or main courses and our special "Pinza"(traditional pizza from Rome) with gorgeous toppings .

The menu is simple focussed on high quality ingredients. Best coffee and teas are also served throughout the day.

We are open Monday to Friday 17pm- 10pm, Saturday from 11am - 10pm and on Sunday from 10am - 6pm.

    Horrifically overpriced food. Very much a tourist trap where the ambience and entertainment are good but service is slow and not friendly. Both the food and drinks are overpriced and poor quality

    Beautiful location. The live orchestra was fun and added to the atmosphere. Could have done without the opera singer afterwards but that's just our likes and dislikes. Food and everything else was fabulous but beware the 12.5% service. Would definitely recommend.

    Food was very good. Starters we had bruschetta and Parmesan lollipops, both lovely just a little on the small side portion wise. For mains we had gnocchi one of which was pesto. Very overpowering would defo share this and maybe mix it with pizza. Flavour wise it was too much on its own. Overall the place was very nice, small and cozy.

    The food was delicious and service was too. Arrived hot and presented well. I judge an Italian restaurant based on their eggplant parmigiana. The dish was perfecto!

    The Wine Place was a wonderful find in Covent Garden. The Rose wine we had was delicious and the food was outstanding. Excellent value for money as well, we were very impressed. Also a lovely touch giving us a glass of fizz for my mums birthday, thank you for a fantastic evening!

    Nice ambience but food mediocre and service poor. More attention from the waiters from the place next door!
