Discover this beautiful hidden gem in the Cambridgeshire countryside. The Willow Tree is a charming, unique and independent pub restaurant for all seasons with many beautiful spaces to enjoy. The charming restaurant offers a beautiful ambience, featuring an open fire, candle lit tables, and floral displays. In the gorgeous Willow garden you will discover eight magical fairy lit dining domes with Dyson heaters for a dining experience with a difference (Domes can only be booked direct online at www.thewillowtreebourn.com).
A large Teepee is situated in our Secret Meadow, also available to book all year round for private hire events, Serving a delectable dining menu with seasonal updates. Sundays Roasts served on Sundays. 'Little Willow' children's menu available. All dishes created rom scratch from high quality fresh ingredients that are as lovely, kind and as local as can be. Many gluten free options, always features dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options too. Dog friendly too.

Excellent food, well prepared with delicious flavours. Not large portions but high quality ingredients and preparation. Outstanding staff. Very cheerful, helpful and engaging.

The team, particular Shaina, were welcoming & noted the birthday for my daughter which was lovely. Wonderful meal, birthday decorated plate, great atmosphere, couldn’t fault.

Disappointed. It felt more like a party place than a pub. Had to ask for new chairs as those in place were terrible. The food was ok but would not call it a treat. For the price I was expecting something nicer. The staff was nice.

Overall we had an enjoyable evening. The food was good and the drinks menu (especially for a designated driver) was extensive. However, the temperature of the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. The fire was going (but at the opposite end of the restaurant so we felt no benefit). Our table and another one next to us ended up sharing an electric heater. But even then, it still wasn’t as comfortable as it could have been, which was disappointing. Staff were friendly, but service was not particularly attentive. Food was very good, we enjoyed our dishes. Would return, but perhaps during the summer, when the weather is warmer.

The food was great, although felt very expensive. The service is what let the overall experience down. There were lots of staff - particularly young staff - but they were stood round. It seemed as though they weren’t trusted to do key tasks such as bring menus, take orders etc. as only the owner was doing this, and the restaurant was almost full. Wasn’t very efficient. Service would have been much quicker had these younger staff been utilised fully. The owner was also clearly prioritising regulars - fair enough, but it means we won’t come back!
