The Whitman–an all-new restaurant concept by Bal Harbour Shops, designed exclusively for the Bal Harbour Shops Access Pop-up. The Whitman name draws inspiration from The Whitman by The Sea– a luxury Miami Beach hotel owned by the Whitman family in the 1940s.
The Whitman brings the iconic dining experience of Bal Harbour Shops to life through its breezy indoor-outdoor space. Evoking a decadent lifestyle of leisure, the palm-framed courtyard retains the idyllic al fresco environment of the Shops. With a menu featuring Latin-inspired flavors and comforting classics, The Whitman will keep you coming back.

The experience was great. The food was better than I expected. Each dish we had was delicious. The portion sizes were enough two.

Our whole crew was impressed and surprised with the quality of the food, atmosphere and service considering we dining at the pop up event. To be a portable set up, we could not tell at all. Bravo to everyone who made the pop up and our experience with the Whitman a success.

Everything we had was outstanding! We would have loved to have had a few more appetizers, but they had run out. I wish we could have gone more than this one time, but it was very enjoyable and I'm so glad we were able to experience The Whitman!

The restaurant was beautifully designed and decorated. All employees were personable and skilled. The hamburger was so delicious!!! It was truly a great experience!!

Food was wonderful and on point! But…the ambiance was lacking it’s luster to compliment the food we enjoyed. Understandably it was a Pop-Up here in Miramar Beach, FL but my husband and I were the only ones dining. With that said the food was so good and we had multiple dishes and EVERYTHING was perfect!

It was a great concept. We enjoyed our meal. They were out of a couple of things due to it being a pop-up restaurant. Overall, still very good!
