The White Swan in Gressenhall is a beautiful country pub full of community spirit!
We're passionate about local beer, friendly welcoming service and proper pub food done well. The menu features beer battered fish & chips, local sausage & mash and homemade curry. You'll find classic pub fayre with a signature touch using fresh, seasonal & local produce and a kids menu too. Sunday roast served up family style so everyone can dig in and enjoy.

Relaxed & informal atmosphere, a cosy & enclosed garden to the rear with a kids play area, and garden room available for private hire.

A very friendly pub and fantastic Sunday roast! Nut roast is great for vegetarians and my dog loves going there too!

Good choice of drinks. No bottles of Coke or Diet Coke. Only from the tap. Main was really tasty. Good size portions. The cheesecake was very jelly like. It didn’t taste like a traditional cheesecake. Maybe it was brought in from a supplier rather than freshly made. That’s the only thing we were disappointed with. Overall we had a lovely meal, the staff were very accommodating and we felt welcomed. We have eaten here a few times and will be returning.

Lovely roast dinner for Father's Day. Great food and friendly service. Sadly too full for pudding but there was a good choice.

One awful meal. Other two had problems. Awful meal was sent back and not really improved at all.

Had a lovely meal on a Thursday evening. Service was excellent, food lovely and the restaurant/pub was clean and tidy. Had a lovely atmosphere, not too noisy/not too quiet. Will be going again at the weekend.

The welcome was warm and the service very good. On arrival it was quiet and we were able to chat easily. Sadly, the floor looks fantastic but is a slate tile which creates an echo chamber of noise once the restaurant starts to fill up and chairs being moved on it cause very loud, sharp noises that affected our enjoyment of our lunch and catch up. The starter prawns were tasty and the main roast vegetables were very good indeed. Unfortunately, the beef had been overcooked and was cut very thinly and proved tough and my friends' Yorkshire Puddings were burnt. The desserts sounded suitably indulgent but we refrained. Lots of potential, the village of Gressenhall is picturesque and the staff were attentive but sadly it wasn't quite the five star visit this time.

The food, hospitality and cleaniness was excellent. The only problem was the amount of flies in the bar which was unpleasant whilst we were eating our food. At one point I was ready to leave half way through our meal
