The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. This includes a specialty cocktail menu with different seasonal ingredients along with a fresh mocktail menu. The Tavern offers brunch seven days a week with bottomless brunch cocktails and Sunday jazz brunch from 11am-2pm. On Friday & Saturday local musicians perform from 8-11pm. White Oak is located in Enchanted Forest Shopping Center in Ellicott City. Make sure to stop by & try the award-winning burger, draft beers and see what the makes The Tavern unique. Cheers!

    Great dinner spot, family friendly & dog friendly! The outside seating area is big. Food was amazing and came out pretty fast (good for the kiddos!). Best part is the prices are not outrageous. There servers were great, we had a mishap with one order and they fixed it right away and didn't charge us extra since we had to swap a meal. Will definitely be back!

    A good local bar / restaurant. The menu decriptions and the pricing are a bit ahead of the food.

    We were excited to finally check this place out. Unfortunately, the service was very very disappointing. The host was wonderful but the server seemed very uninterested. Everything was slow and she never came to check on us. We had to grab our own utensils and even ask the host if we could get our check. What made this more disappointing was that the place was not packed at all and there seemed to be plenty of staff running around. The highlight of this experience was the host and the food.

I would like to apologize for the experience you had on Fathers Day, You are right this is typically not the kind of service we provide, Many of our reviews point out our excellent service but I understand this was not the case. Fathers Day was a extremely busy day for us and it seems your server may have gotten overwhelmed. Which is no excuse. I urge you to give us another try.     The Tavern Burger and the burger of the month were incredible and perfectly cooked! The Mahi Mahi was excellent as well and it was a GREAT atmosphere! We ate outside and dogs are welcomed as well, what’s not to LOVE!!!

    Truly enjoyed this experience. We were seated outside which was very nice. The service was outstanding. Checked in appropriately but not overbearing. Food came out timely. Drinks were excellent and all the food we had including desert was very very good. Great presentation and flavors. Excellent variety on the menu but not saturated with selections. The food alone is worth a return.

    We had burnt ends, Korean ribs and chicken caprese sandwich. All were very good. Old Fashioneds and Espresso cocktail with rye were very good as well. Servers were polite and fast. Will go again.
