The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. This includes a specialty cocktail menu with different seasonal ingredients along with a fresh mocktail menu. The Tavern offers brunch seven days a week with bottomless brunch cocktails and Sunday jazz brunch from 11am-2pm. On Friday & Saturday local musicians perform from 8-11pm. Friday lunch 12:30pm. Quite crowd and had a booth. Wonderfully surprised by the meal. Not your “typical” bar food. Had the BLAT - Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado and Tomato. Came with fries. Bacon was extra lean and perfectly cooked. Avocado was flavorful and the fries were crispy yet soft on the inside = perfect. James was the server and he was excellent. Will revisit.

Not much to say. We were visiting from out of town. Took 1 hour for soup, salad, and tacos to arrive. Food was ok but overpriced.

Hi Michael, All of our menu items are made by hand, from scratch using the best ingredients and our prices reflect that. I am sorry that we took awhile to deliver your food. A great place to see live music, get a tasty meal and a delish adult beverage (or two) with a nice vibe and friendly, responsive service. We'll be back again and again!

Nice service from Tyler and one of the owners. Delicious food (but bring back the daily sausage special!) clean, pretty and much appreciated outdoor setting. Beer selection was more limited than in past. Love the little tasting glasses and the flexibility to order short sets (good as I was the designated driver.)

a surprisingly good local tavern/brew pub. in spite of being in the middle of a shopping center, the internal atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and management takes care to check in on how the food and service are received. The various items we had (burgers, polenta cakes and more) were all large and excellent. Happy we "stumbled" onto this place!!

First time and was impressed with the food and the service. Wes was great. Ordered the peach salad with goat cheese and spinach, hand cut French fries, and breakfast tacos. Delicious.

Great menu, variety. Food was very good overall, no complaints! Would definitely eat there again. Service was very good and atmosphere is very nice! Again, one of those places from the outside in a shopping center where you never know!

As a tavern, this had a good selection of drinks. Definitely not a tablecloth-type establishment. A lot of families. It was a borderline sports bar, with evening entertainment. Music was not overwhelming, as some can be. Met my needs to be in & out in a timely fashion.
