The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. This includes a specialty cocktail menu with different seasonal ingredients along with a fresh mocktail menu. The Tavern offers brunch seven days a week with bottomless brunch cocktails and Sunday jazz brunch from 11am-2pm. On Friday & Saturday local musicians perform from 8-11pm. Love the dog friendly patio! My pup thoroughly enjoyed the grilled chicken! We, humans, both had burgers which were good. I had the corn and tomato hash which was delicious! Did not have any but the cocktails look delicious.

Love coming here on Saturday nights when they have live music. Nice food selection, can't beat the beer menu, and the service is great. We had the fried green tomato BLT and the shawarma chicken tacos with the rosemary garlic parm fries and it was all delish!

I ordered appetizer stuff fried green tomatoes was excellent. My friend had those shrimp and grits which she enjoyed. Thank you for the shrimp appetizer was also very good.

Very nice. Outdoor seating was very comfortable, also very dog friendly. Music inside was good too. The parmesan cheese fries were excellent, as was the shrimp and grits. Server was excellent. We'll be back.

The wings were a little dry and without much seasoning. My Fried green tomatoes BLT was light on the bacon and the bread was greasy from the grilling (a soggy feel) One of our party ordered one of the specials and they came back and informed him they were out of the special ( it was only 6:30 on a Friday, how special was it?) and no compensation was provided.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was good and the food was great. My husband was extremely pleased and he ordered the brisket stroganoff. The general manager came over to check on us. It was our first time and we would definitely come back.
