The White Lion is a lovely thatched country pub, now fully restored with cosy snugs in the old beamed building and a sunny eatery opening onto large covered terraces and a secluded garden. Just two miles from the centre of Leamington Spa and a mile from the Fosse Way, the White Lion is easy to reach, with a warm welcome from our experienced team always ready with good beer, great cocktails, delicious wines and fresh seasonal quality food.

We had an excellent meal at this revamped gastro pub. All staff were excellent and friendly. Food was good too.

The service was incredibly slow, waiting for seats although we’d booked. Setting felt very rushed. My partner ordered the partridge which was very tough - even after asking for a steak knife it was near impossible to cut. Unfortunately it was also full of shot gun pellets, told the waitress he’d cracked his tooth on one of the three pellets found. ended up walking as no resolution was offered.

Very relaxed and cosy small restaurant. Food was diecious and great value. Service was friendly and informal.

We found the White Lion to be a rather quant old public house with aa abundance of period features. We were greeted in a friendly manner, staff were attentive. The menu was extensive, the food absolutely lovely and delightfully cooked. Would recommend this venue.
