4 of us out for a meal 3 generations and 3 vegetarians and on the menu there were choices for everyone. Its a lovely pub plenty of room inside and busy the staff were all lovely and polite.

We had a great evening from the minute we arrived. Bar staff were very friendly & once we had drinks in hands were given the choice to stay in the bar a while or go straight through to our table which was ready for us. We had good service at our table & the food was delicious, with a good menu. Staff attentive & always at hand. We took friends who hadn’t eaten there before , who agreed they would be returning again soon. The White Horse is always on our short list. See you again

The food was well presented and very enjoyable. Staff were attentive and friendly. Although very busy it was not too long to wait for our food. Nice atmosohere. Would visit again.

Wanted a venue with a menu that offered a variety. A suprising venue tucked away, with good food (portions were very generous, especially the chicken strip starters) and good service. Parking was an issue as carpark was full, so had to find a spot on a street nearby. I would recommend.

Well the fish and chips were good, but the pie of the day had pastry that you needed a chisel to attack it , also the vegetables were dried and curled, I guess microwaved food, disappointed because I’m a local who uses this pub regularly. Needs to return to what it used to be!

We arrived early for our booking (3 adults, 3 teens and a dog) and were served promptly in the bar while waiting. The pub was busy but the service was efficient and friendly and there was a good atmosphere. We all enjoyed our food, including the dog and his sausages. Highly recommend.

We were shown into the dining room and it was lovely and quiet, the bar area was quite noisy and busy, not unusual for a Friday night. The staff member couldn't do enough for us and were very attentive and friendly. I had the White Horse burger and chips, followed by a lovely cheesecake, with a yummy biscoff base, how could you resist?! My partner had pie, mash and veg and he soon finished it off, followed by several pints of Woodforde! All in all a good night!
