The White Horse in Churton, the very first pub from Elite Bistros, the award winning team behind, Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish, Pinon and Kala.

You'll find a warm welcome, a great range of beers and well stocked bar plus all the fantastic food you have come to expect from Elite Bistros. Our toasty open fires are perfect to while away the hours with the newspapers or when the sun shines you can enjoy our terrace and beer garden.

Our kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12.00-8.00pm Mon-Thurs, 12.00-9.00pm Fri-Sat and 12.00-7.30pm on Sundays.

Upgrade your afternoon with afternoon tea by the fire at the White Horse in Churton. Available Monday - Saturday from 12pm-4pm. Not available on days of special events such as Valentine's Day and Guest Chef Nights Savour a curated selection of delectable treats, from freshly baked scones, sausage rolls, delicate finger sandwiches and sweet treats. All prepared with the finest ingredients by our team of chefs. Enjoy with freshly brewed tea and coffee and a glass of fizz for £28pp.

Plusieurs dates disponibles
On Wednesdays* we quiz. 8pm kick off each week with a £1pp entry... the potential winner takes all! If there's no winner it'll roll over until the next week. Sometime it's Play Your Cards Right, sometimes it's based on The Chase. Sometimes it's just a good old-fashioned q&a. So come join us... book a table at 7pm dine with us. Quiz participants can enjoy extended hours of our '2 plates for £20' offer. With frickles, fresh cask pints and of course, lots of good company... what more could you ask for! (sometimes on Thursdays so please check for upcoming dates!)

Lovely surroundings with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent and good value. We had the two courses for £20 daytime offer which was great value. Very friendly and accommodating staff. All in all a great experience!

We had lunch outside in the sunshine and can't fault it. The food was beautiful and the staff were lovely, champagne was drunk (it was my birthday celebration) and for a birthday bonus, met Gary too!

Had lunch here recently and staff and Bar manager were very friendly and polite. Lovely place to eat we had 3 small plates and 2 sides..all delicious. Would eat here again.

Really lovely food, good amount of choice on the menu. Drinks were brought quickly, really nice added birthday touch. Good value given the great quality of the food!

Second time at my local eatery did not disappoint. I was in food heaven, wild mushrooms to die for and an absolutely gorgeous rib eye that just melted in the mouth. Superb evening apart from the customer who was clicking his fingers at staff and didn’t know how to say Please and Thank You 🤣

A lovely evening at The White Horse to celebrate a family birthday. The food, drink and service were all great, and we particularly appreciated it being dog friendly and the tv was on quietly in the corner showing the Euros match. Would highly recommend

Food and service as excellent as ever, but having been hustled through the online booking process ‘only 5 minutes to complete because of demand’ the snug was almost sepulchrally quiet, except as a pre-meal meet up space for restaurant diners. Having been on a previous lunchtime when it was abso buzzing, it just felt a bit flat! Notwithstanding, would highly recommend- even better when the road from Chester is actually open and doesn’t necessitate a grand tour.

Lovely chef obviously but no money invested in surroundings - for example my cheap green chair felt like its legs were going to give way. Lighting loads of candles on a sunny June day doesn’t distract from the old cheap furniture and decor.
