The White Horse in Churton, the very first pub from Elite Bistros, the award winning team behind, Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish, Pinon and Kala.

You'll find a warm welcome, a great range of beers and well stocked bar plus all the fantastic food you have come to expect from Elite Bistros. Our toasty open fires are perfect to while away the hours with the newspapers or when the sun shines you can enjoy our terrace and beer garden.

Our kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12.00-8.00pm Mon-Thurs, 12.00-9.00pm Fri-Sat and 12.00-7.30pm on Sundays.

Upgrade your afternoon with afternoon tea by the fire at the White Horse in Churton. Available Monday - Saturday from 12pm-4pm. Not available on days of special events such as Valentine's Day and Guest Chef Nights Savour a curated selection of delectable treats, from freshly baked scones, sausage rolls, delicate finger sandwiches and sweet treats. All prepared with the finest ingredients by our team of chefs. Enjoy with freshly brewed tea and coffee and a glass of fizz for £28pp.

On Wednesdays* we quiz. 8pm kick off each week with a £1pp entry... the potential winner takes all! If there's no winner it'll roll over until the next week. Sometime it's Play Your Cards Right, sometimes it's based on The Chase. Sometimes it's just a good old-fashioned Q&A So come join us... book a table at 7pm dine with us. Quiz participants can enjoy extended hours of our '2 plates for £22' offer. With frickles, fresh cask pints and of course, lots of good company... what more could you ask for! (sometimes on Thursdays so please check for upcoming dates!)

Absolutely love the White Horse. Whether for a big night out or - as per Sunday night - a quiet, relaxed easy end of the weekend chilled out casual dinner, it’s great. A regular place - as of course is Sticky Walnut, on something of a rotation. New menu is spot on for that relaxed Sunday evening vibe. Creative, accessible, accomplished cooking and some of the friendliest best service around. So lucky to have this nearby. Menu perhaps even more extensive - espec on mains and desserts - than before and some beautifully executed dishes, strong flavours and as ever with Gary U’s venues (Kala and now Bakehouse also favourites!) great ingredients, lovely wine selection, fab environment and atmosphere. Oh, and outrageously good value!! Will be back. Soon.

Another wonderful Sunday afternoon lunch and well worth waiting for the restaurant and the staff are absolutely fabulous and friendly.

I'm a big fan of Fine Dining restaurants, and of the work that Gary Usher and his steam are doing to shine a light on the North West dining scene - so take of that what you will. The White Horse at Churton is the latest venture from Elite Bistros and we have now been to eat there 3 times since its opening, its a good hours drive. It's a Sunday and I opt for the Beef Sunday Lunch, the Birthday Girl opts for the Beef Pie. We both have the same experience, top drawer food, great flavours, well cooked and piping hot. Drinks were excellent, though there was no Champagne by the glass, not everyone likes Prosecco. Wines were good and paid well with the meal, and were not overly priced. When we arrived it was a hubbub of busy tables so the atmosphere was good, not too loud. A good meal can be spoilt by poor service (and vice versa), however we had an amazing server (didn't catch her name - goth style and tattoos) and she was EXCELLENT. Nothing too much trouble, attentive but not overly so, no pressure to vacate the table and she made the meal, service should be like this. This was a suitable birthday meal, with a hand drawn Happy Birthday plate and piece of Honeycomb as a nod to the occasion. This is a must go location, fine dining, great quality and value, supporting a team trying to do something special in Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. Well done.

Food and service excellent as usual. On this occasion a large party were very loud to the point that a couple of incoming guests asked to be seated away from the noise.

First Class from start to finish ! The food is superb and excellent value and the service and attention to detail is superb too ! We live over 130 miles from TWH but will visit all over again as soon as we can !
