Great food. Beef roasts had really tender good quality meat and portions were very generous. Lots of vegetables provided. Seabass was very good too as was the pork roast. One of the best roast dinners you can get.

Four of us had a great Sunday lunch. The beef was tender and succulent. Vegetables cooked just how we like them.

Sunny day, chose to eat inside so very quiet. Mid week lunch so not busy, just what we wanted for a good chat. Food delicious and good service.

The table we reserved was not available when we arrived. It took 1.25 hours to get our starter and we were offered a complementary drink as an apology. Main courses arrived at the table and we said we had not yet had our starters. The main courses were for the adjacent table. We eventually received our starter. The waiter came to take away our starter plates and asked if we would like a dessert, to which we responded “we would like our mains first”. It was now 10.30 and we felt pressured to pay the bill as surprisingly we were last in the restaurant. I did express my disappointment at the time to the landlady and said we would not be returning for a while.
