The Whistling Grizzly features a regional bistro inspired menu utilizing local products such as Lockhart Ranch beef, Idaho trout and Vertical Harvest greens. Food & Beverage Director Jason Azarpour brings a 5 star hospitality experience as well as classic French culinary training to the Whistling Grizzly. We also offer a full bar menu including a full wine list, cocktails and local brews from Melvin and Snake River Brew Pub.

We enjoyed our dining experience at The Whistkung Grizzly. The salmon was delicious, and we highly recommend the carrot cake for dessert.

Great food and well presented. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners here and enjoyed everything we tried. We recommend the smoked trout dip, parsnip & apple soup, burratta salad, summer salad, trout entree and the elk tenderloin. We also enjoyed the bread pudding and the carrot cake (their signature dessert. The Teton Scramble is great for breakfast. Good coffee too. We got a French Press of decaf for after dinner and it was delicious.

Attentive staff, beautiful presentation, and the best ribeye I’ve ever experienced. Cooked to perfection! My favorite restaurant in Jackson for dinner and for breakfast.

In my opinion, this is overall the best restaurant in the valley. The serice and the food are both excellent, with both good fish, beef, and game options, and a wide variety if appetizers. They are very willing to accomodate special requests. I also rate the bar, the wine selection, and ambience ve ry high.

Excellent food, service, ambience, bar, and overall presentation. the best restaurant in the valley. Unlike many restaurants in the valley, they don't crowd the tables.

Food was excellent. Both the elk and pork entrees were delicious. The trout dip appetizer was very good, too. Wait staff were kind of inattentive on a not very busy night. The ambience was just so-so. It was quiet with some nice art but it was clear this was a room off the lobby of an inn.

Fantastic restaurant- first time diner here. Food was outstanding and service was top notch. One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. The Elk dish was incredible.
