The Wheel focuses on American cuisine brimming with locally sourced ingredients in an industrial chic, waterfront setting.

Drawing on fresh ingredients from over 40 local farmers, fishermen and purveyors, the restaurant features the best of what’s in season with an ever-changing menu plus produce grown and harvested right from The Village’s rooftop garden. At the center of its open kitchen lies a hearth oven used to roast meats, fish and vegetables, as well as to bake Neapolitan-style pizzas.

I felt our waiter was “jazzed” busy on a Saturday night. Would have liked him to check on us more versus looking for him.

That was our third visit to this restaurant. The rich bar is endless, the food is great. For appetizer we had Whipped Eggplant, Chopped Salad, we will order it again next time. For the main course we had Lasagna Bolognese Highly recommended, Miso Glazed Cod, Duroc Pork Chop, both dishes are excellent.

The food was outstanding and we all enjoyed the mimosa box (two bottles of champagne with various juices, liqueurs, and fruits). The service was good given the business of Sunday brunch. Great value as well.

Sat outside- it was perfect ambiance- relaxing by the water. The service was excellent as was the food and wine.

Excellent find in Stamford's Harbor Point district. Very attractive décor and vibe at this very large and spacious setting. Staff were great and the food was very good -- some dishes were better than others e.g. the pork chop was a bit overdone but the braised short ribs, and the bolognese, was fantastic. Great setting and overall dining experience -- I would go back.

Wonderful open air environment with great views. Excellent food and drink at reasonable prices. Pleasant attentive service with water glasses always refilled but we did have to wait for salt and pepper for the table. Would definitely return.
