Excellent lunchtime menu - meal & a drink for £12. Good choice of both meals and drink. Very friendly bar staff. Delicious food. Looking forward to our next visit.

Arrived and even though open table had confirmed the booking and Id been emailed twice to say confirmed they didny have our booking, and didnt seem keen to seat us somewhere suitable. We were told to only order from one menu as lunch wasnt offered. And from that menu many other items were not available. But we then saw other tables being brought food we were told they didnt have. We used to frequently visit this pub, and this is the first time back... we werent made welcome and overall we decided we wouldn't come back.

I booked a table to watch the rugby and the staff "upgraded" my table to a better position due to a cancellation. Absolutely thrilled as it was the best table in the house. Had a great afternoon. Couldn't fault the place in any way.

This was our Pub of choice during our 5-week stay in Rickmansworth. It’s spacious and modern, the bar staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of on-tap beer choices and the food is better than good! Great place for a leisurely Sunday Roast meal or a quick pint when passing by. Loved it!

Coming up to Xmas should have had more staff on . Long wait at bar and for food . Food nice and hot when arrived and lady serving us very nice and apologetic . Went to order deserts and told kitchen was closed so not a good first time visit for us . But good value for money

We got ignored for ages, left standing whilst waitress/manager wiped the bar clean or ages. I tried to say we had a reservation Ndshe walked away whilst i was talking (!) Only to finally be turned away because they 'don't look at their OpenTable reservations site'. Even though there were plenty of tables. Definitely a race related thing which is really sad.

Have had weekday lunch here before which was lovely, but the Sunday roast was not good! Potatoes seemed to have been fried not roasted, and how does boiled broccoli become charred and burnt. The Yorkshire puds I’m sure weren’t home made, both the same size and shape?? Really upset stomach after. However, the young woman behind the bar, purple hair was lovely as she always is. Decided it’s a pub OK for beer and crisps but not Sunday lunch.

Visiting out of area and booked a table for a larger party (children included). Greeted by a sign on the bar saying that their online booking service was broken and could not accommodate the bookings. Why stil take bookings then! Most of the indoor tables taken with drinkers watching football, so unable to stay. Too late in the day to get another table elsewhere...,.very disappointed.
