Server Erin was delightful. The Seafood Strudel is a MUST ORDER original. The most memorable moment was the Key Lime pie dessert— BEST EVER!!!!

Seafood Strudel was a great recommendation as was the sea bass. Service was great and honest. Will be back, maybe to sit at the bar as the glasswork looks excellent.

A surprisingly disappointing dinner after so many excellent ones here was deflating. Our meals of halibut and smoked duck breast were under par for Westend; the halibut could have been a different species as the fillet lacked the usual defined texture, and frankly was too bland. The duck was grisly and not enough flavor to invite more bites. The mushroom trio was superb and the Black Walnut manhattan became unappealingly sweeter with repeated sips. Maybe I should have complained to the server but there comes a time during a meal when it is just too late to fuss. Maybe next time we go all appetizers as lovely wife suggested on leaving?

Some of the food was tasty and well prepared but some of it was lacking-underseasoned or overcooked sides, bare salad, mostly unremarkable except for a couple of nice dishes like grilled asparagus and the dill crema on the salmon. The service was very good- host and servers were friendly, attentive and ambiance is fine but a bit outdated perhaps. Even by Ann Arbor standards the prices seem high for the meals served and drinks were also pricey. Known as a special event restaurant diners may expect these prices but then its also reasonable to expect something more special and delicious about the food, IMO.

Birthday celebration with the family. The food and service was outstanding. Prepared with extra table and extra seat. Food was delicious. I had a sea bass and it was Devine. Definitely recommend

Not best dining experience even though they apologized and credited us some it was still $200 for two of us. First bottle of wine corked. Not their fault. Salads good but took forever. Pork chop was raw inside. It even cooked at all. When bill came it was wrong. They went to fix it after crediting one of our cocktails, the pork chop and a dessert ( that we didn’t want) and when they credited it the bill Came back higher! The salads were uncharged $7.95 each even though included in meal. Waitress said $2.95 but by the time the final Bill came we were last ones inside restaurant. They were bussing and setting up all tables and we wanted to go. Still paid over $200 for two of us with all of that. Not going back.

The food was just “ok” and not worth the price. This used to be a favorite restaurant, since Covid it is hard to recommend to others.

As always, the food and service were excellent. The salmon and sea bass were delicious. Ambience A+.
