Haven't been for a long time so decided to try it again on recommendation. The menu is reasonably priced with a good choice, the food was lovely and good value for money. The young gentleman serving us was friendly, curious and engaging. Will definitely be back and recommending to others.

Excellent service brilliant food, well presented and tasted great, clean restaurant, good atmosphere, loved the design of the restaraunt, staff were very helpful

We were there around at 15:17 and we were told that there are all tables booked , we went to the car and checked online and we booked a table for 15:30. We went back , with a 5 months old baby sleeping and they gave us a table near the bar and we asked for another table where people don’t go around and they said they don’t have other tables. We sat there and the waitress trying to move the tables around there woke the baby and we had just to leave.

We all had different meals, 2 of our party are vegetarians and there was plenty of choice. It was quiet when we arrived, so service was quick. I had fish & chips and it was lovely. Not happy with it being card only though, can make it difficult if everyone is paying separately, or splitting the bill.

Greeted by a young gentleman as soon as we walked in - smart, pleasant and attentive …. Drinks ordered and delivered promptly. We were a large group who wandered upon the restaurant by chance ….. it was perfect. The Tomato & Red Pepper soup needs to be bottled and sold!!! Delicious! All mains - superb and as requested - timely, presented beautifully, tasted better than expected. Too full for desserts apart from my 3 daughters who opted for brownie, crumble and ice cream (little one only eats ice cream!) …. Stunning. 100% recommend this hidden gem.

I've had better at the wepre, but this time it was not very good, we were put on a rickety table right next to a service hub which was very noisy and service staff walking past ,and every one that walked past had to ask if everything was OK, once was enough, we had to wait to get served when people who came in after us were served before us, all in all we hope they can improve as it can be a nice place to go for a meal, but not this time.

The starter of garlic mushrooms was delicious as was the carvery meal The pork and gammon were very well cooked and the vegetables plentiful and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful particularly Jamie the manager
