Easy to get reservations as we prefer to seat at the high tops tables in the front. Kristina was wonderful attentive answered our questions an d checked with the chef regarding the way a sandwich was prepared Bar was busy and we had to wait awhile and Kristina kept us informed

First time visiting The Wayward, as when it was Crickets we regularly visited it. It feels so like Crickets which was a good thing. Enjoyable dinner, pretty good service. No real complaints, other than the lighting was a bit too dark. Next time we’ll grab a high top table or choose the main dining room.

It was great! The waitress Katie was especially noteworthy…she went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and that we were happy with our meals!

The service was excellent. Marcia was engaging and friendly made great suggestions for our food and drink choices. Food was great. The shrimp tempura appetizer was amazing. I’m glad we tried this place out. We will be back again.

I made a reservation here for the first time, since I wanted to spend my anniversary with my boyfriend here for a change! First of all, I wanted to say the waitress was super sweet and super friendly, she checked in with us frequently to make sure everything was good! Overall, the appetizers we had was super delicious! We had popovers and BK Burrata which was delicious, my only complaint is that I wished the Burrata had more bread sticks (I don’t know what the actual name of it is) but otherwise the flavor was super tasty so we devoured the appetizers without a problem! As for an entree we both had the spicy fried chicken sandwich with truffle fries, if I’m being honest it was a little disappointing since the entree had potential. The fried chicken was a little over cooked so it was pretty dry, and lacked sauce but the flavor was great which is why I said it had potential. The truffle fries were a little too garlicky, so it was pretty overpowering so I don’t know if that’s how they normally are but next time I may get the regular fries instead since the fries were great and were very crispy! Lastly, we had dessert called “Lil David’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Sando” it was somewhat decent. The vanilla ice cream was good, just unfortunately the cookie was a little tough but wasn’t too bad. My boyfriend loved the cappuccino since he had it with his dessert, he said it was recommended. In my opinion, I believe there could be some improvements as far as the appetizer portions and possibly fixing the entree’s spices and sauce portion to prevent the foods from being dry or being too overwhelming. I’ll say the price was a bit pricey just for the meals we had since it wasn’t really anything outrageous or impressive, but otherwise we may return for like appetizers since they had a large selection.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Our server Nicolette was fantastic. Great recommendations and attention to us. Made our birthday celebration SO SPECIAL!

Food was delish. Warm lobster roll, smash burger, fries. Yum! Service was awesome. Waitress was friendly and offered great recommendations. Place was dark and loud—more like a sports bar—which I didn’t expect from the restaurant name. Won’t be back because of that. Spring was broken in my seat so not that comfy. Women’s bathroom is GORGEOUS. It’s a sports bar with good food.
